Although the spice saffron has been used for centuries for its many health promoting abilities, saffron tea is now a very popular method to add this incredible spice into your diet and benefit from its medicinal properties and other benefits. Saffron tea can help to improve memory, enhance brain function and is a great source of nutrition. To make your own saffron tea, simply bring one to two cups of water to a boil in a pan and add 2 to 3 tablespoons of saffron to the water once it has begun to boil. Reduce heat and let the mixture steep for about 10 minutes. Then let cool to your desired temperature, strain into a cup and enjoy. You can add cinnamon and ginger to this recipe as well. Now, lets discuss some of the amazing health benefits of consuming a glass of saffron tea regularly.
