Today, we came to the village of Misfat Al-Abriyeen, near Nizwa, to get an exciting and detailed report on the complete process of cooking Shuwa, which is actually the national dish of Oman, which we will soon post on Mr. Taster's YouTube channel:

Shuwa is made from mutton meat, which is first marinated with special Omani sauce and spices, wrapped with a banana leaf, put in a bag, sewn, and put into an oven on the ground with charcoal, then again the banana leaves are put on the bag and close the lid cover it with mud leave it to cook for about 16 hours. This food is cooked mostly during Eids, and it has been times where 300 lambs were all cooked like.
شوآ رو از گوشت بره گوسفند درست کردن که اول گوشت رو با سس و ادویه های مخصوص عمانی مرینیت میکنن و با برگ درخت موز دورشو میپیچن و داخل یه کیسه میذارن و میدوزن و میره داخل تنوری که در زمین قرار داره با آتیش هیزم،بعد دوباره برگ درخت موز میاد روی کیسه و در تنور و میبندن و با گِل میپوشونن و حدود ۱۶ ساعت میذارن تا بپزه.بیشتر در عیدها این غذای لذیذ پخته میشه و خیلی وقتا شده تا سیصد گوسفند رو به این روش میپزن که طعمش بی نظیره و جزو خوشمزه ترین غذاهایی بود که این مدت خورده بودم.❤️😋
