A jaw-dropping 3D light projection show illuminated Shanghai Concert Hall on Wednesday, turning the 91-year-old building into flowing music notes. The show is made by creators of the 4D countdown show at the Bund.
The show will be displayed at the Concert Hall each night at 6:30 pm from now till November 11th. Visitors can make free online reservations for the staggering experience.
The light show is followed by a new multimedia residency performance of traditional Chinese music, the New Oriental Chinese Music Scene, and an upgrade of the original concert by Shanghai Chinese Orchestra.
Shanghai Concert Hall was originally built as a cinema in 1930, and was the first Western classic style building designed by Chinese architects in Shanghai. It was transformed into China's first dedicated concert hall in 1959.
