Out of sync wipers on a Renault Grand Scenic Mk3 is a common issue, caused by water getting stuck in the scuttle due to blocked drains. It's often associated with a fault on the parking brake - also caused (I believe) by water ingress. Our family bus has both of these issues - amongst others: it's a total lemon. But I'm also rather fond of it.
So in this video I take an enforced break from upgrading my electric car conversion and fix the wipers on the Scenic - and with a bit of luck, the parking brake fault as well.
Both drains in the scuttle proved to be completely blocked with gunk. So I cleared those out and replaced both motors with good used units. Since I've done this, the wipers seem to be working find and the intermittent parking brake fault has only popped up just once. Maybe some residual water.
