Treehouse-Like Huts at WOHA's Goodwood Residences Serve as Cozy Gathering Spaces

WOHA Architects designed a series of small treehouse-like cabins as gathering spaces for residents of the new Goodwood Residence in Singapore. The huts are level with the height of the surrounding tree canopies and they create a dynamic topography that connects the development to the adjacent Goodwood Hill, generating a more intimate atmosphere in the courtyard area.
The Goodwood Residence has 210 apartments that surround a central courtyard dominated by a large swimming pool and clubhouse. It is a community gathering space complete with a concierge, reading room and pools. Smaller landscaped courtyards branch off the sheltered walkways and provide varying levels of privacy within the L-shaped complex.
