Here's my Breakdown info for Showdown:
This is the Showdown Game Mode, Otherwise known as "Campaign" The PvE Story mode of the game that tells more about the characters and lore of the game.
Showdown comes in the form of Tower Defenses, Clearing out mob infested Strongholds, And my favorite straight up boss fights! That are almost souls like.
Showdown can be played in party up to 3 and has it's own matchmaking system for those who have no friends to invite or to make new ones along to way and help clear stages, They can also be entered solo if you wish for a much tougher challenge and single player experience.
Showdown can be played and progressed in different difficulties,
(Easy, Normal, Hard, NightScream) Easiest to hardest in order, play at your own pace.
In Showdown all weapons are locked to specific heros you don't get to pick what weapon you use only the hero you want using that weapon that now has altered skills for showdown and it's own play style.
Showdown has it's own leveling systems the first is "Hero Level" each hero has it's own level from 1-20 advancing them will grant higher tier of the weapons and armor you have aswell as bonus stats and abilities.
The second leveling system in Showdown is known as "Sense Level" there's items called Souljades that can be shared mixed and matched with all heros to give specific stats, Abilities or even weapon and skill modifications, Leveling the souljades by infusing other souljades into eachother will determine how easy or hard a stage will be.
Sense level will also determine which stage you're able to enter as most of them are locked behind the completion of previous stages with their own recommended Sense level to help guide you with how strong you should be before entering it.
Showdown has it's own special speed runner leader board for additional rewards.
Showdown is only open Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
