💘1940's X 1890's Handmade Wiggle dress💘

I am super proud and excited to share with you this project! This is my fashion era mashup of the iconic Heart and arrows dress worn by Ginger Rogers in the 1938 movie Carefree.

I wanted to have an over the top, extravagant dress with embroidery on the bodice, giant puffy sleeves and a wiggle skirt!

I used 3 patterns to make the dress:
Bodice: Charm Patterns Night and Day bodice with round neckline
Skirt: Charm Patterns Stanwyck pencil skirt
Sleeves: Butterick b6537
