Showing you how to make Lafenwa stew also known as Itoko Stew from the Egba people of Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Ingedients:
Assorted meats ( Shaki, Ponmo, Beef, Goat meat, Inu eran (Offals), Snail are ideal)
4 Red Bell Peppers (Red Tatashe)
3 Green Bell Peppers (Green Tatashe)
40gms Dried Chilli Peppers (Ata Ijosi -Blend with Bell peppers) OR
1/2 cup Crushed Chilli Flakes
2 Whole Onions
1 Chopped Onion
3 Tablespoons Iru (Locust beans)
Shredded Bonga Fish (Eja Shawa)
1/2 Cup Ground Crayfish
Boiled Eggs (Optional)
1 Full Cup Palm Oil
Stock Cubes
Salt to Taste
