Thermobaric Devices: the other white meat of explosives. You might recognize them from other titles such as fuel air bombs, vacuum bombs, vapor bombs, etc..... Many different names to the same item: thermobarics. Basically, they are explosive systems that disperse a large quantity of fuel over a large area then combust the fuel cloud to form a massive explosion. These devices didn't see as much use in western arsenals beyond air drop weapons such as the MOAP. Eastern armies developed them further creating much more intricate designs from grenades to man-portable rocket systems.

Jake and Brian (not Cody) put their gray matter together and researched the topic to come up with several prototype thermobaric grenades. These crude and improvised devices will provide valuable data that will allow for refinement into improved thermobaric grenades. These also helps us here as we can apply the data towards large scale fuel-air bomb systems.

Today, we are going to explain the basics of thermobaric devices then test out our three crude thermobaric bombs. Let's see how well they work and if they can live up to the potential of their mass produced relatives!
