"Dancing on My Own" is a midtempo dance-pop and electropop ballad sung by Swedish singer Robyn and co-written as well as co-produced by Robyn and Patrik Berger. Three substantially different versions of her track were released - a midtempo album version in support of her fifth studio album Body Talk Pt. 1 (11 June 2010), a midtempo radio version released as a digital bonus track to that album and on certain editions of the end-of-year compilation with new tracks, Body Talk (22 November 2010), and finally, a downtempo piano-based version released separately on Radio 1's Live Lounge - Volume 5 (25 October 2010).
