Department of Tourism (DoT) Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat invited guests from the media, the travel trade, and tourism partners, along with representatives from the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Intramuros Administration (IA), for the inaugural trip of the Pasig River Ferry Tourist Cruise.

Guests boarded a 150-seater air-conditioned ferry traveling from the Guadalupe Pasig River Ferry Terminal to the Escolta ferry terminal. The trip took about an hour and showcased several landmarks along the way, such as the Malacañan Palace, the Jones Bridge, and the Manila Central Post Office.

After the cruise, there was a short tour of Intramuros where Manila Mayor Isko Moreno served as the tour guide. Guests visited the Intramuros Presidents’ Gallery, the Heroes’ Square, Plaza de Armas, Fort Santiago, before ending the trip over dinner at the Ayuntamiento de Manila.
