I wrote Harbour in March 2020 in response to the Syrian refugee crisis. Since then it's been sung all over the world, especially since the Ukraine refugee crisis, and 10,000 copies of the score have been downloaded from my publisher @ChoirCommunity .

I organised a fundraising event for refugee charities Refugee Council and Sanctuary in Chichester in May 2022 which included a massed performance of Harbour in Midhurst Market Square. These are members of the public, pupils from local schools and lots of members of various community choirs singing an informal rendition of the song to unite the crowd behind this message - that displaced people are welcome to seek refuge here, however they arrive here and wherever they are from.
