March 2022 CAIRIBU* Catalyst Conversations: Spatial Transcriptomics and the Kidney, Michael Eadon, MD
Dr. Michael Eadon, Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine Divisions of Nephrology and Clinical Pharmacology, discusses spatial transcriptomics and the kidney. As scRNA-seq is enabling our deeper understanding of the biology of cells, the use of spatial transcriptomics techniques allows us to measure all the gene activity in a tissue sample and map where the activity is occurring. The combination of these approaches is an exciting addition to the single-cell mapping toolbox.
