At the MSPO 2024 military exhibition in Poland, Ukrainian Armor unveiled its latest armored personnel carrier, the Varta 2. Building on the success of previous models like the Varta, Novator, and Kamrat, the Varta 2 has been specifically designed to meet the needs of Ukrainian forces in modern warfare. Developed in response to lessons learned from recent conflicts, the Varta 2 offers enhanced mobility, protection, and adaptability.
Equipped with the advanced "Sich" remote-controlled weapon station, the Varta 2 mounts a powerful 30 mm automatic cannon and a secondary 7.62 mm machine gun, capable of engaging both ground and low-flying targets. The turret’s 360° rotation and integrated optical and thermal sighting systems provide exceptional targeting accuracy in all conditions. Additional features like the "Tucha" smoke grenade launchers and ICOMWare communication system further improve the vehicle’s survivability and combat effectiveness, making it a formidable asset in any battlefield.
