Haris Sgourdas has had an absolutely amazing year, his Blusoul production alias has grown immensely and is now one of the most respected names in not only the progressive underground but also the progressive breaks scene as well.

His 'Fireface EP' hit us like a ton of bricks this past October and was one of our favorite breakbeat EPs of the year. 'Blu Illusions' his radio show is coming up on it's one year anniversary and continues to grow in popularity as he dishes out sublime sets of progressive soundscapes each month. Blusoul is fast becoming a staple of the legendary Mistique artist roster and once again he has collaborated with Michael, Levan and Stiven Rivic's excellent label for a killer new single. 'Method of Deep Diving' is out this week with great remixes from: Timewave, Quintax and Faces. Blusoul's original kicks off with exactly what we've come to expect from him a rumbling bottom end and a very sophisticated groove. The breakdown followed by a short breakbeat section is absolutely mindblowing with panning vocal pads and killer electronics introduced, when the 4/4 drops back in with all the additional elements it's full steam ahead for a great finish and another wicked original from Blusoul. Finland's Timewave provides the first remix and as expected it's an incredible slice of perfect progressive trance. Timewave's productions are becoming much more profound with each passing release, he's really developed his own unique brand of progressive trance and his tracks are fast becoming staples of John OO Fleming's sets. His remix here is graced with twinkling melodic touches and growling synths that sit nicely over top of a big club friendly bottom end. Again with most Timewave productions it's how well all the atmospheric and melodic elements work together at the tracks climax that really make his productions so amazing both for the dancefloor or just even home listening. They are all great pieces of music and his remix here is no different, excellent stuff.
Branislav Klinko fresh off a great Styller remix of Beekay for his own Mistique Dream imprint dons his Quintax alias for his remix of 'Method of Deep Diving'. Here he goes for a decidedly more techno inspired progressive interpretation and it's absolutely fabulous. A tough groove combined with hypnotic vocal elements and very well placed stabs have created an absolute dancefoor smash of a track and an excellent addition as it certainly broadens the appeal of the EP. Great work from one of our favorite multi-guise producers.
The Faces production duo of Laszlo Csak and Gyorgy Meszaros close the package out with a cool spacey and more minimal groove oriented alternative to the original. Another excellent single from Blusoul and quality package from Mistique.
