How to make Easy Thai Peanut Sauce, aka Satay Sauce
This recipe is my go to appetizer because it is so frickin' yummy & healthy, takes only minutes to make and stores in the fridge for a month (at least!). When my kids ask me for white pasta for dinner, if I set this out as a first course, I know they're getting the protein, vitamins and fiber they need, and we need - and all those natural (fresh) colors!
This recipe is so easy it comes together in 5 minutes, and it’s so rich it can satisfy bellies as appetizers or as the sauce for mains for weeks. I like to make a big vat of it, this recipe uses an entire jar of peanut butter, but you can feel free to halve (or double) this recipe if you wish. Having this handy in the fridge makes life so simple when searching for a snack.
I like to serve this with fresh veggies, slather it on a wheat noodle with sesame seeds for a thai peanut noodle dish, or dip it into spring rolls (surprisingly simple to make).
