Shooting the Heizer Defense PAK1 7.62x39 AK pocket pistol. The Heizer pak1 pistol is a single-shot, break open action pistol with a ported barrel. At the shooting range for a follow-up video to our first range trip where we experienced some malfunctions with cheap steel cased Russian ammo.

Originally I had some issues with the action not coming open using some lower end ammo. This time we have some American Eagle, at about one dollar per round, which operated flawlessly in the PAK1. All in all, it’s definitely a novelty firearm, much like its .223 PAR1 counterpart. But one of the coolest novelties I have had the experience of shooting.
