"I wrote the hook of the song a long time ago and then I left it at that. After I got the offer from Denim Dream I started focusing on it more and I finally completed the song. My friend 97Thghts helped me through the recording process which I appreciate a lot and I would like to give a special thanks to the lovely fireonblack who produced and mixed this song. "I start my song with the sentence “You know hoes mad” and this is as real as it gets because in the end of the day I know some people are watching me and envy me in some way whether it be the confidence I have in myself or the way I stand out when I’m in a room. I’m a little rockstar in the making so you know I stay scandalous with my dramatic self. "
"I named the so song “Pay Me Up” because I like it when people spend on me and it also talks about my love life a little bit, you know what they say - no romance without finance. The hook also reflects on the fact that I’d like to be able to up my game when it comes to the music business and get what I deserve in return. There is also a line where I start by saying "11 the rare" and that is because I connect myself with the number 11 deeply. Every number has its own energy and a meaning, 11 is special for me because of the connection I have to my angels - that's also why I got it tattooed on my face. "
"I am rare and everyone who feels my energy knows that. The goal is to hopefully inspire people with this rare energy I got in this lifetime."
