The Final Shape preview event has been such a cool way of seeing the new content early, and it’s a great way to tease the upcoming changes! Chief among the new content showed were the new Exotic weapons, and for me personally the one that stood out the most was Red Death Reformed, the reprised version of the Red Death exotic pulse rifle from Destiny 1. Much the same as its predecessor, Red Death Reformed now Cures you on kill, yes on kill, not reload, and it also improves reload with kills too. On top of that, it now has a new perk that increases your damage the lower your health gets, which combined with the upcoming Pulse Rifle buffs (maximum 38% to red bars) plus the intrinsic 30% bonus exotic primaries get to red bars this weapon is going to become a red bar clearing power house, on top of basically making you invincible. Also, because it’s now a Solar weapon it can extend Restoration with Ember of Empyrean and further synergizes with Ember of Benevolence when Curing allies to accelerate your ability cooldowns even more.
