New weapon proficiencies arrive in the second major update to Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure in February 2024. Each profession will have access to a new weapon, allowing players to employ brand-new skills and playstyles against the threats to Tyria.

The new profession weapon options are:
Warrior | Staff
Thief | Axe
Revenant | Scepter
Elementalist | Pistol
Engineer | Short Bow
Ranger | Mace
Necromancer | Sword
Mesmer | Rifle
Guardian | Pistol
