Step 1: Apply Small Talk as a cutting lotion
Step 2: Create a centre parting followed by a radial division and the fringe. Then create 2 horizontal partings above the ears
Step 3: Remove weight at the sides using horizontal layering and deep point cutting
Step 4: Subdivide the top and bottom at the back of the head, layering squarely to the head-shape with slight diagonal forward sections at the nape
Step 5a: At the crown work with pivoting sections and remove weight following the head-shape. Over-direct the last section to the previous one to maintain weight
Step 5b: Detail the layers from behind the ears
Step 6: Cut the side and around ears using a geometric line, then connect the top area visually using slide cutting
Step 7: Towards fringe layer short to long using vertical sections, and slicing the top area
Step 8: Blend the fringe with the sides, cutting visually from short to long through the centre to create a 'curtain fringe’ feeling
Step 9: Blow dry with Queen For A Day using a small round brush
Step 10: Personalise the shape using point cutting
Step 11: Finish with Hard To Get to give hold and texture
