Tricky bit of bicycle infrastructure, here. There's not much space between moving traffic and pedestrians waiting to cross the street (at least they weren't texting i-pod zombies, this time!). When traffic is stopped, there's not much room to squeeze past.
Ideally, there should be a slip-lane to provide bicycle access to the island; and it should be usable when motor vehicle traffic is moving or stopped.
The centre of the map is where most bicycles leave the street, to follow the MUP through the Basin Reserve - [ Ссылка ]
