Tess of the D’Urbervilles in my opinion is slightly larger than the David Austin website states and reaches a very comfortable 10 feet reducing a huge show of blooms normally in late June the flowers are the most stunning crimson red plant it on the south or west facing wall where it really can take some heat, And release it’s very strong heavy old English Rose fragrance
In the 10 years I’ve been growing this rose it has never suffered with any health problems whatsoever as a state in the video this is the first time I have ever seen black spot caused by a very warm and dry April and May
