🥥Add medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil. MCTs go directly to the liver and are converted to ketones. So you could add a tablespoon of MCT oil to a bowl of fruit and still produce ketones.
🍎 Add acetic acid to your diet via apple cider vinegar.
🥗 Eat a wide variety of high-fiber foods to boost your gut microbiome and produce butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid that’s beneficial for gut and metabolic health. People with Type 2 diabetes have been shown to have low levels of butyric acid-producing bacteria in their gut (1). And animal studies show that butyrate boosts insulin sensitivity (2).
