Today, I'm going to be reviewing a beer from the Trillium Brewing Company, and it's their Patersbier, which is a Belgian-style Patersbier. I've had many different beers from Trillium, but I've never had one of their Belgian-style beers, so reviewing this should be a lot of fun! Let's see how it is! I also want to give a huge thanks to the dudes over at Nerdsense, Shaun and Mike, for hooking me up with this one.

Commercial Description:
The second beer we're packaging at our new Thomson Place restaurant and brewery is a return to our Permutation 34 recipe, a traditional Belgian Patersbier. The ABV on this Abbey ale stays in the middle of the road, while the beer remains flavorful and refreshing, intended to be enjoyed while accomplishing the tasks of the day. Patersbier represents another step in Trillium's progress towards refinement of classic styles.
The beer pours a soft, hazy straw color that shimmers in the light. On the nose banana, citrus zest, floral green tea and bubblegum burst forward. Notes of lemon and lime arrive on the first sip, with a touch of floral bitterness that carries the beer. Underlying is subtle biscuit character, and a medium level of dryness from the Trappist yeast.
