We can set up Microsoft Word templates perfectly and issue brand guidelines to everyone using them; but as the saying goes - rules are made to be broken (or forgotten).

If you find inconsistent text formatting is a major issue in your organisation, help is at hand.

You can use Microsoft Word's Restrict Editing command as a first step to preventing any manual formatting to text. It will switch off more than just recolouring fonts or the indent buttons - features like Page and Section Breaks or manual formatting to tables will also be disabled.

For those who want a bit more flexibility, I can offer templates with customised tabs, restoring certain options to format text, as well as the Breaks and Table Formatting commands.
