This is a unique combination of a Keynote talk, Business simulation and Workshop that explores the important question " Under what conditions will people COLLABORATE? "

We all know its important to collaborate. Let's make this a given and move on. The more pressing question for companies these days are under what conditions will people cooperate?
Despite its seeming simplicity, this question is very complicated.
The answer matters a great deal to anyone trying to create an environment that fosters cooperation, from corporate managers and government bureaucrats to parents of unruly siblings.
By investigating this in more detail, we can better learn how to incentivize people to cooperate.
How do you make collaboration work for both the individual and the group so its not just an empty word or a deception
In this session, we incorporate a similar social experiment to help people identify their actual behaviours in a real-world context.

The Collaboration Deception is an interactive in-depth keynote and workshop that examines how to build a collaborative culture in a competitive environment. This is a powerful game-theory style interactive session, where the participants become involved in a social experiment and discover firsthand what happens when trust is removed from the equation.

Leaders and teams benefit from this program through learning how to build long-lasting trust with fellow team members, vendors, partners and associates. They will understand what to look for in healthy teams and business relationships, and how to collaborate.
Going beyond simple inspirational approaches collaboration, this advanced session focuses on some core questions that deeply challenge the way we do things.

• Understand the forces at work with the dilemma of collaborating in a competitive environment
• Determine what non-collaborative behaviours such as defecting and freeriding can occur in business contexts and what impact they have
• Identify how to change behaviour from “they” to “we” thinking
• Explore collaborative behaviours and expectations in their workplace.
