While Piers was away, some monsters had boarded the ship for us to find. They're merely cannon fodder, at least until you get to the last group of them. They form together to create the Aqua Hydra. The next boss. It's not bad. But it lasts longer than it should for me.
Anyway, once it's gone, the room will fill up with water and allow us to reach the engine room so Piers can put the Black Crystal in place and start the ship. Now it's time to explore!
The first stop is Daila. In the sanctum in the back, we need to to take the item on the mantle and use it on a similar statue in the Shrine of the Sea God.
Once we get what we came for, a part to a trident of some kind, we're free to leave to the next destination. The cavern the Great Gabomba mentioned.
