On March 10, 2022, the U.S. Census Bureau held a virtual news conference discussing the release of the first set of results from the 2020 Post-Enumeration Survey (PES) along with additional results from the 2020 Demographic Analysis (DA) estimates.
The first release of PES results provides national estimates of population coverage overall and by demographic groups, such as race and Hispanic origin, as well as age groups and sex. Results from the DA estimates include net coverage error estimates by single year of age and sex at the national level. Together, these results help evaluate the quality of the 2020 Census.
