Did you know you can get a separate insurance policy for your jewelry?

Even though some insurance companies cover a certain amount already on your home insurance policy, it may not cover the full value of the jewelry. In addition, if you file a claim for jewelry through your home insurance it could increase your policy rate. That’s why I’d recommend getting a separate policy.

There are companies that cover your jewelry for loss, theft, damage, disappearance and traveling while some home insurance companies just cover you for theft. These policies are inexpensive too.
