ESP Node MCU V2 based multi sensor with a hand crafted PCB (board).
This sensor case is designed to use in a smart-home environment for different purposes - security feature and some comfort features.
software is based on Tasmota, which makes it completely open for almost all smart-home systems which can handle MQTT etc.
In my case I use it with iobroker.
this case can be build by less then 15 Euro. For me it was important, to run without any batteries, since from my experiences in case you need the motion sensor, batteries are empty and on the other hand it is more ecological for a permanent device.
list of used devices:
Temperature sensor: DHT 22 ca. 6 €
Light Sensor: BH1750 - ca. 2,8 €
PIR Motion sensor AM 312 - ca. 2,40 €
resistor - ca. 0,2 €
LED 5 mm - ca 0,2 €
PIezo KY-012 - 1,8 €
PCB - depending on where are you order from: ca. 1 €
3D printed case 0,2 € ;) depending on what you already have in place.
of course you need also a USB power supply - but maybe you have an old one, or anyway a free USB port available, so I don't calculate a USB power cord and power adapter in this list.
have fun if you build one on your own!
