Gabriela Rocha, stage name of Gabriela Rocha Corrêa Moreira, a Brazilian singer and songwriter of contemporary Christian music. She has recorded with international artists such as Elevation Worship, CeCe Winans and Michael W. Smith.
She began to become known through the Jovens Talentos competition, on Raul Gil's television program, which she joined in March 2006 and won in May 2007. The first major success of her career would come in 2010 in a presentation on the Program Raul Gil, singing ''Hallelujah'' (his own version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah), whose video at the time quickly reached thousands of views on YouTube.
Michael Whitaker Smith at the age of five, he composed his first song and was already playing the piano. At the age of ten he converted to Christianity and, after his conversion, his dream became to become a professional pianist. Michael became active in the congregation his parents attended, where he played piano during worship time on Sunday nights. He began listening to Jesus Movement artists in the early 1970s. At the end of the decade he had drug problems, but the Lord rescued him and his career began when in 1982 he began accompanying (as keyboardist) the young singer Amy Grant, with whom he is still very close friends. In 1983, the first solo work of his career appeared, which "exploded" with the hit "Friends". From then on, he released a total of 18 albums and 11 books, in his 22-year career. He has sung for 3 US presidents, the Pope and Reverend Billy Graham. Thus Michael W. Smith became one of the main icons of Contemporary Christian Music.
