August is National Black Business Month, but it should be every month for people of African descent. I've heard everything from too high, bad customer service, and not enough options regarding Black businesses. But it's crazy how when shopping at Black businesses was expected during segregation, it wasn't a problem. Yet in this day and age, now that there are options, there are articles everywhere about people taking crazy to our people, people following our people around in stores, overcharging, etc. and y'all still shop there. Decolonize the mind, recycle the Black dollar any chance you're able to.
