"The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack that happened today in Kabul, this morning. Innocent people of Kabul were been killed and injured. We strongly condemn this attack. It is a terrorist attack, while the Islamic countries are celebrating the birthday of Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him today, on such a day, such a holy day the terrorists attacked Kabul and killing Innocent people. "When I was coming out I found two, three dead bodies... dead bodies or injured or not till dead, till dead or maybe survivor, their bodies were lying in the prone position. I have seen them when I was coming out, after this attack, I (was) confined in my bathroom at least three hours when firing (was) going on, first car bomb got exploded, then full roof came on my head."

STORYLINE
Suicide bombers attacked in the heart of Kabul on Friday, triggering a series of explosions and gunbattles that killed at least 17 people in an area of residential hotels rented by Indian embassy workers and other foreigners, police and witnesses said.
