Intel RealSense T265 in action on an IRobot Create running ARC software navigating to saved waypoints. It can use Simultaneous Localization And Mapping to navigate from the fisheye camera. Data is sent to the laptop, then the software signals to an Uart Port on an EZB controller, which controls the IRobot Create movement.
The longer USB cable is used when holding the laptop to acquire waypoints.
I forgot to remove it for the video.
I have an ultrasonic sensor on the front for safety, which also feeds data into the navigation.
