An Officer and four soldiers lost their lives during a counter-terrorist operation in Pir Panjal ranges.
The Indian Army launched a cordon & search operation in villages close to DKG in Poonch on Monday.
The hiding terrorists fired on the search parties resulting in critical injuries to a JCO and four other soldiers.
The JCO and the soldiers later succumbed to their injuries in a nearby medical centre.
