This is Dr. Grant Cooper at Princeton Spine and Joint Center. I’m going to tell you everything you’ll ever need to know about tennis elbow. First off, what is it? Tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis, is an inflammation of the extensor tendons in the forearm that attach to the bony prominence in the elbow called the lateral epicondyle. This is easily one of the most common causes of elbow pain. It’s usually an easily made diagnosis.
