STORYLINE
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko inspected the country's latest military hardware on display in Novi Petrivtsi on Saturday.
He said the weaponry, mostly made in Ukraine, showed the army was ready to respond if the ceasefire with pro-Russia separatists broke down.
Surveillance drones, a missile defence system and a radar system were among items on display.
Poroshenko also test drove a US Humvee armed with a Ukrainian-made mounted machine gun.
