This video demonstrates how I repaired a Ring Floodlight Camera. Please note this is for demonstrative purposes only and you should consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure what to do.
One of the LED bulbs on the Ring Floodlight Camera was burnt out and the other would flash from time to time. These come as an all inclusive unit and parts are not available for them. Since the issue could be the bulb or the internal DC step down transformer, I decided to gut the assembly and replace the bulbs with standard LED flood lamps. This included removing the step down transformer and rewiring the Floodlight Camera to support 2 regular flood lamps that were triggered by the Ring camera and sensor assembly.
