@Top Seven
7. SNOW CREEK FALLS
This side creek that tumbles some 2,140ft into Tenaya Canyon in Yosemite National Park, is one of the more elusive waterfalls in the park. In fact, if you want to see the whole drop of the waterfall in one go, you’re gonna have to summit Yosemite’s iconic Half Dome. Perhaps one of the better excuses to do the strenuous trail for waterfalls .
6. Balaifossen Fall
Balaifossen fall is a very tall but rather low volume and inconsequential multi-step waterfall found along the Osafjord in Ulvik. The falls’ namesake stream drains from several modest tarns perched over 1,000 meters above the sea and upon reaching the edge of the fjord the stream skips, veils and plunges for a total of 2,510 feet in a long chain of falls before ending on an alluvial fan and flowing more calmly into the sea.
5. Vinnufossen Fall
Vinnufossen or Vinnufallet is the tallest waterfall in Europe and the fifth-tallest in the world. The 865-metre tall tiered horsetail waterfall is located just east of the village of Sunndalsøra in the municipality of Sunndal in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The falls are part of the river Vinnu which flows down from the Vinnufjellet mountain and it is fed from the Vinnufonna glacier. The falls flow into the river Driva near the village of Hoelsand.
4. Yumbilla Falls
Yumbilla Falls is the name of a waterfall located near the town of Cuispes, in the northern Peruvian region of Amazonas. It is considered the world's 4th tallest waterfall. Yumbilla is 895.5 m high, with the top located 2,723.6 m above sea level and the base at 1,828.1 m . This area is part of the Eastern Peruvian Andes, also known as Cordillera Oriental, more precisely, part of a mountain massif called Cerro Panhuayco.
3. Oloʻupena Falls
Oloʻupena Falls, or Oloupena Falls, is a waterfall located in the north-eastern part of Hawaiian Island of Molokai, and is unofficially cited as the 3rd highest waterfall in the world, and the highest in the United States. The falls occur where a short, seasonal stream spills over the edge of one of the tallest sea-side cliffs of the world, located between the Pelekunu and Wailau valleys. They have eroded a groove in the cliff-face and can be observed only from the ocean or air.
2. Tugela Falls
Tugela Falls is a complex of seasonal waterfalls located in Dragon's Mountains of Royal Natal National Park in KwaZulu-Natal Province, Republic of South Africa. The combined total drop of its five distinct free-leaping falls is officially 948 m . In 2016, however, a Czech scientific expedition took new measurements, making the falls 983 m tall. The source of the Tugela River is the Mont-Aux-Sources plateau which extends several kilometers beyond The Amphitheatre escarpment from which the falls drop.
01. Angel Falls
Angel Falls is a waterfall in Venezuela. It is the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall, with a height of 979 metres and a plunge of 807 m. The waterfall drops over the edge of the Auyán-tepui mountain in the Canaima National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Gran Sabana region of Bolívar State. The falls are along a fork of the Rio Kerepacupai Meru which flows into the Churun River, a tributary of the Carrao River, itself a tributary of the Orinoco River.
