“Home” can mean a lot of things: a place, a group of people, even a feeling. This piece reflects how this team has become a home for the people on it, and encompasses the joy, frustration, nostalgia, and bittersweet feelings that come with building a home and needing to leave it behind. AFX Dance Company invites you to sit down beside us and stay a while, as we present our Spring 2022 set, “Home”.

AFX Dance is an open style dance group founded in Fall 2011 to give dancers an opportunity to grow. Our name, [A]spirations, [F]amily, e[X]perience reflects our philosophy of creating a family environment for dancers to build up the confidence and support to reach new heights. With Competition, Project, and Training levels, we hope to provide dancers, choreographers, and directors with new, fulfilling experiences that will empower them to pass on our philosophies to the greater community.
