Back in the summer Disney the black working cocker spaniel dog took up the sport of canine hoopers. Being slightly crazy my dogs had just three lessons before I entered them into a competition. Disney already competes at dog agility, so making the swap to hoopers was easy for her. In this video it is the Tunnelers Starters class she is taking part in under CHUK rules.
Unlike agility if the dog misses an obstacle you just carry on, so Hoopers it's a much more free flowing sport than dog agility. You also have bonus boxes to stand in to try and work your dog at a distance, which is what I was trying to do at the beginning when she ducked out of the hoop.
