After having gotten the S.S. Ticket, I went around through Route 5, 6 and 11, getting some other stuff along the way, including an Alolan Vulpix, which I then obviously proceeded to name after my friend. (oh yeah some of y'all aren't caught up on our lore probably lol we aren't dating anymore but i still name any vulpix/ninetales-a after her because her sona is an ice foxgirl lol anyway)
Also got myself a Lombre (after I wasted my Water Stone on another one that wouldn't want to evolve just yet because of level up movepools) to deal with some of the Water types in this.
Just beware to have something good for Water Absorb Clodsire.
