“Cool Flowers” is the concept of when and how to grow a family of annuals called cool-season hardy annuals.
This family includes some of the most beautiful spring bloomers like Bells of Ireland, Sweet Peas, Snapdragons, and many others.
Their awkward planting times trips us up.
We can all plant them— it’s just on different timelines. It’s based on our winter lowest temperature which tells us what we can fall plant. Our first and last frost dates tells when to plant them!
