TIERRO Band welcomes us onto a ghost ship where all the oars are in motion. Whether pushing or pulling or whipping up a frenzy of foam, the ship maneuvers deftly through the water without fear or hesitation. The music embraces darkness and light with equal vigor, recognizing the rooted emotion inherent in both, and its ancestral rhythms create a landscape of vivid imagination that opens up a sky of possibility.
Arriving on a floating carpet powered by a magical genie, TIERRO Band is an oasis for lovers of ecstatic dance and world improvisation. Ethnic flavors spice up hip-hop beats as guitars and violins intertwine layers of alluring melodies from distant lands. This World Jam & Tribal Fusion collaboration is a 7-piece live band with hints of electronica accompanied by world-class performance artists.
