How to wear your SI / pregnancy belt.
1. Place the center of your belt over your tailbone
2. Pull the side pieces to attach on the front side - over the crotch bone [ make sure the side pieces are over your true hips ]
3. Pull the extra flaps nice + tight
It’s lower than you think!
Women often think that a belt like this is for your belly - but it’s for your PELVIS - to hold the ligaments + pelvic girdle tight. So that all of the surrounding muscles don’t have to OVERWORK.
Remember - you have a ton of relaxin in your body! It’s important to remember to stabilize as much as possible to keep excess tension + pressure off of your nerve roots.
