The 4th mode of the jazz melodic minor scale is Lydian Flat 7, also often referred to as "Lydian Dominant."
Scale degrees are: 1, 2, 3 #4, 5, 6, b7
This mode is useful over the second chord in the groove, which is a bVII 7th chord, a whole step below the tonic major 7th chord.
