I’ve been free of SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) for almost 4 years.
Gut motility is usually critical for someone like myself who got SIBO from food poisoning.
3 Things I do to assist my gut motility are:
1.meal spacing: 4+ hours in between
-allows migrating motor complex MMC (system of muscles and nerves) time to clear out
intestine. It’s kinda like scrubbing a plate clean after eating, instead of letting the residual food dry and eating on that same plate again. Gross!
2.ginger root capsules
-helps mainly with stomach and upper small intestinal motility
3.eating hygiene
-avoiding stressful stuff while eating -minimal liquid during meals -chewing well
