This video is about a very famous and a great side dish for breakfast staples called Kumbakonam Kadappa. This dish is a very good accompaniment for staples like idiyappam, appam, dosa, idly, chappathi and Bhuri. This dish has a very mouth watering taste to it. This can be prepared in the nick of time at home.
Ingredients:
Moong Dhal - 1/4 cup
Potatoes- 2 no’s
Onion - 1 no’s
Tomatoes- 1 no’s
Curry leaves - 2 sprig
Coriander leaves - 2 sprig
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Lemon - 1/2 no’s
Salt - to taste
Ground Masala
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Ginger - 1 piece
Garlic - 3 pods
Fennel seed - 1 tsp
Poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp
Roasted Channa Dhal - 1 tsp
Green chilli - 3 to 4 no’s
