Challenge Overview:
Can we collect all sources of TIDP data from each participant efficiently?
Can we create a centralised data source for all MIDP data?
Can this system account for frequent updates and changes from suppliers?
Can we visualise all relevant information from this data source including information on when various entries where submitted and who has yet to submit their TIDP?
Benefits:
It would save massive amounts of effort and manpower to be able to automate this task. You could argue that given the increasing amount of information that is coming through projects, without spending large amounts of money and resource on managing this process, information planning and monitoring is almost impossible to keep accurate. Increased requirements through initiatives such as the upcoming Building Safety Bill / Golden Thread, carbon reporting etc. are only going to make this more difficult. Systems such as this will become the backbone of future project management and reporting.
